Job summary

Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician in Clearwater, FL. The role focuses on outdoor upkeep of lawns, landscaping, and irrigation systems to ensure a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.

You will operate a range of landscaping equipment, perform routine tasks, and assist Facilities with special projects. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Must be able to operate landscaping equipment safely.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Prune trees, shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and landscape materials.
• Apply mulch, fertilizer, and landscape treatments as directed.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems; report issues.
• Remove weeds and invasive vegetation from landscaped areas.
• Pick up litter and debris throughout the property.
• Sweep and blow sidewalks, parking lots, entrances, and outdoor areas.
• Operate mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws, and other tools.
• Perform minor repairs to fencing, benches, signage, irrigation components.
• Report safety hazards to maintenance promptly.
• Follow safety procedures for equipment, chemicals, PPE.
• Assist Facilities staff with special projects and events.
• Maintain equipment in clean working condition; report problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
