Job summary

Flex is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our Santa Clara, CA team. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, reliable workplace, supporting employees, leaders, and guests, and coordinating with vendors for exceptional facility operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of facilities experience in a corporate or Class A setting, with strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage maintenance records and work orders.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a corporate office or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance systems with troubleshooting ability.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, managing work orders, and maintaining maintenance/inspection records.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with employees, leaders, guests, vendors, and contractors.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and ability to work in confidential executive-facing environments.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with basic computer systems, maintenance software, email, and documentation tools; reliable Monday–Friday attendance (7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive facilities support throughout the corporate office, including executive offices, conference rooms, and workspaces.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, equipment, fixtures, furniture, and infrastructure.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment testing to prevent issues.
• Respond to service requests and work orders with ownership through resolution and strong customer service.
• Coordinate with property management, vendors, contractors, Security, and IT to support facility operations.
• Support workplace projects, moves, events, inventory management, and emergency preparedness.
