Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of building maintenance experience.
• Must be able to acquire a CFC Universal certification.
• Must be able to obtain a GSA Public Trust Clearance (HSPD-12).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing and hardware.
• Receive work assignments, plan tasks, and obtain tools and materials.
• Complete paperwork promptly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and proper service procedures.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment and tools.
• Keep shop and mechanical areas clean, organized and safe.
• Inspect areas and report deficiencies with improvement ideas.
• Maintain positive tenant relations and teamwork.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
