Job summary

High School Diploma and 4 years of building maintenance experience are required, with OSHA life-safety compliance. A CFC Universal certification and the ability to obtain a GSA Public Trust Clearance (HSPD-12) are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Employee is responsible for complying with all life safety and OSHA requirements.
• Must have a CFC Universal.
• Must be able to acquire a GSA Public Trust Clearance (HSPD-12)

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, water treatment, electrical, lighting, plumbing, energy management, fire protection, structural, hardware.
• Develop skills in installing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Receive work assignments, plan work, and obtain tools and materials.
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner and apply proper procedures.
• Maintain safety by using proper tools and keeping areas clean and organized.
• Inspect building areas and report deficiencies or improvement suggestions.
• Demonstrate professional demeanor and tenant relations; support team environment.
• Occasionally work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure coverage.
