Job summary

The Lodge at Jasper is seeking a Maintenance Tech / Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Director with daily upkeep, minor repairs, and coordinating with vendors.

This role requires a High School Diploma, one year of related experience, and the ability to work Mon-Fri with alternating weekends; candidates should be flexible, detail-oriented, and skilled in basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of job-related experience required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-service oriented with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review the maintenance log daily and complete tasks.
• Inspect furniture and coordinate maintenance with vendors.
• Perform minor repairs (plumbing, fixtures, doors) and general maintenance.
• Hang bulletin boards, pictures, and coat hooks in suites and offices.
• Coordinate with Facilities Director and external vendors.
• Assist with painting, furniture moving, and material disposal.
• Operate cleaning power equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Steam clean carpets and adjust HVAC filters.
• Notify supervisor of major repairs via the maintenance log.
