Job summary

The Lodge at Jasper is seeking a Maintenance Tech /Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Director in maintaining the community. Responsibilities include minor repairs, inspections, and coordinating with vendors for upkeep across resident areas.

The role requires prioritization, ability to multi-task, and strong communication to ensure smooth operations and quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review the maintenance log daily and complete tasks as assigned.
• Inspect furniture and arrange maintenance and scheduling with vendors for detailed cleaning.
• Perform minor repairs (plumbing, door hardware, lighting, etc.).
• Hang bulletin boards and pictures in resident suites and offices.
• Coordinate with Facilities Director, Executive Director and external vendors.
• Touch up paint, refinish furniture, move furniture, transport materials as needed.
• Follow procedures for cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets.
• Notify supervisor about major repairs or system needs.
