Job summary

Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician for the Chatsworth, CA site. You will maintain building systems, manage repairs, and coordinate with external contractors to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role involves routine and reactive maintenance, plus documentation of work and adherence to health and safety standards, enabling continuous production support for aerospace products.

Qualifications

• Prior Facilities Technician experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Familiarity with building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
• Strong health and safety knowledge and compliance awareness.
• Ability to operate tools safely in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance across building systems, equipment and infrastructure, including lighting, plumbing and HVAC.
• Support planned preventative maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Coordinate and monitor external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is safe and meets Ontic standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report issues or opportunities for improvement.
• Respond to facilities requests and resolve issues quickly using helpdesk systems.
• Support health and safety activities, including fire alarm testing and emergency lighting.
