Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across three buildings. You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, respond to work orders, and support production continuity while following safety protocols and LOTO procedures.

You`ll collaborate with vendors, maintain records in CMMS, and help with on-call rotations and seasonal tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification in a facilities-related trade preferred.
2+ years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-building commercial environments preferred.
Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems; ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors/dock equipment, and life-safety systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; escalate complex repairs as needed.
Respond to facility work orders and trouble calls via CMMS; prioritize safety-critical issues.
Support production continuity by minimizing downtime through timely repairs and proactive issue identification.
Maintain electrical distribution components at a basic level and support licensed electricians on higher-voltage work.
