Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Facilities Technician for the Plant Facilities Department, 2nd shift (Beaches - Main Building). You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe patient environment.

The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, safety adherence, and collaboration with staff to support high-quality patient care. Shift is Monday to Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industrial experience.
• General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems to support hospital facilities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Take readings and keep records; respond to customer complaints.
• Complete work orders and comply with applicable codes.
• Provide in-depth service on complex equipment like pumps, compressors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
