Job summary

Suburban Inns is seeking a Facilities Technician for a fast-paced hotel environment. The role focuses on maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and grounds, while upholding brand standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The technician will manage maintenance work orders, source parts, monitor pool and spa safety, and support preventative maintenance programs across the property. The position requires flexibility for a 2nd shift (typically 3pm-11pm), weekend availability, and a starting wage of

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions.
• May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel welcome.
• Perform property walk-arounds and address issues; report problems to the appropriate department or General Manager.
• Establish and manage parts suppliers; order items within budget and obtain GM approval for big-ticket items.
• Use Quore to record maintenance issues and complete all work orders.
• Oversee daily water checks on pool/spa and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain security of the property, including master keys and equipment functioning.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and interdepartmental communication.
• Drive company vehicles or operate lawn/snow equipment as needed.
