Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Philadelphia seeks a Facilities Worker 1 to perform general building maintenance, including drywall repair, painting, carpentry, plumbing and basic electrical work. The role covers HVAC PMs, filter changes, and ceiling tile maintenance across a 24/7 shift pattern.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Basic Mathematical Skills.
• Basic Computer Skills: operate common computer programs.
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Follow instructions and respond to management direction.
• Official/recognized technical education/training.
• Basic electrical training and ability to troubleshoot.
• Rigging abilities including heavy equipment relocation at medium project level.
• Understanding of HVAC, chilled water, hot water, compressed air, clean air and electrical power systems.
• Good understanding of facilities equipment including air handlers, chillers, boilers, etc.
• Honeywell Station modules knowledge: HVAC, Fire, Utilities.
• Welding capability and basic locksmith skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and maintenance duties: drywall repair, painting, carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical work.
• HVAC PMs and repairs; filter changes and ceiling tile installation/maintenance.
• Assemble and install furniture; rigging and heavy equipment relocation at medium scale.
• Lead repairs from start to finish; coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and facility systems.
• Identify parts using PCI ordering system; manage work priorities.
• Work with the production environment safely and in compliance with EEO policies.
