Job summary

Maverik Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician 1 to support store operations by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general trade work across building systems.

You will diagnose issues, complete plumbing, electrical, and basic structural repairs, using a wide range of tools to keep facilities safe and running smoothly. The role is based in Grand Junction, CO and requires travel to assigned stores.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep stores and equipment operating.
• Perform basic trades including electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.
• Use tools ranging from common hand tools to testing devices.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints or repair manuals.
• Paint or repair building components such as roofs, windows, doors, floors.
• Review gauges and indicators to ensure machines run properly.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment found in food service.
• Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties.

As a Facilities Technician 1, you’ll support our stores by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general trade work across a variety of building systems and equipment. From diagnosing mechanical issues to completing plumbing, electrical, and basic structural repairs, you’ll use a wide range of tools to keep our facilities safe, efficient, and running smoothly.

Location/Schedule

This role is based in the Grand Junction, CO area and requires travel to assigned stores

What You’ll Do In This Role

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine, preventive maintenance to ensure our stores and equipment continue to operate properly.
• Perform basic trade functions including electrical, plumbing, Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
• Review gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery found in food service.
• Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties.

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:

• 1+ years of experience in related field.

Bonus Points If You Also Bring

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience with ticket management systems such as (ServiceNow, Cherwell) preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying materials or equipment up to 150 pounds.
• Climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:$25.00/hr-$27.00/hr + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
