Job summary

nVent is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operation of facility systems and infrastructure. The role provides hands‑on experience in building maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvement projects alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine maintenance of facility systems, plumbing, compressed air, scrap processing, and building infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.

  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are organized and maintained.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and facility enhancement projects.
  • Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

As a Facilities Technician you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operation of facility systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position provides hands‑on experience in building maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvement projects while working alongside experienced maintenance professionals.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Assist with routine maintenance of facility systems, plumbing, compressed air, scrap processing, and building infrastructure.
