Job summary

Arcadia Beverage is seeking a Facilities Technician to support maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our food and beverage production facility. You will help ensure a safe, efficient workplace and collaborate across departments to meet operational goals.

The role involves routine equipment upkeep, inspections, and assisting in safety and compliance programs in line with OSHA standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and facility management practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems (ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, wastewater).
  • Inspect equipment (fire extinguishers, eye wash, dock equipment) and address issues.
  • Support maintenance schedules and procedures using MaintainX CMMS.

If so, we are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team at our leading-edge food and beverage manufacturing facility.

As a Facilities Technician, you will support the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our facility operations. Your role will be essential in ensuring a well-functioning, safe workplace, protecting our team, and advancing our operational efficiency goals.

Available shifts:

  • Wednesday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Overtime available

What You’ll Do
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment and systems (Ammonia Refrigeration, Boilers, Compressed Air Systems, Waste Water Treatment, etc.), ensuring optimal functionality, and maintaining regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment (Fire Extinguishers, Eye Wash stations, Dock Equipment) to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures using the MaintainX CMMS system
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Support the implementation of safety and compliance programs in accordance with OSHA regulations and other applicable standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair needs to ensure equipment reliability and OSHA compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure facility needs are met and operational efficiency is achieved.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness planning, ensuring response strategies are up-to-date and effective.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility operations and safety performance.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and food safety by following company rules and standards, enforcing the requirements, and communicating violations or concerns to the leadership team.
What We're Looking For
  • Relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, especially within the food and beverage sector or a manufacturing environment.
  • A solid understanding of OSHA regulations and facility management practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure facility and compliance objectives are met.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management tools and software.

The pay:

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
