Job summary

Arcadia is hiring a maintenance electrician to support our pasteurized cold fill beverage packaging lines. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical faults, and assist with production changeovers to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires 2+ years in PLC and industrial electrical work, familiarity with high-speed packaging equipment, hydraulics, and ammonia/refrigeration systems. Competitive benefits accompany this on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with PLC and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with packaging/high-speed production equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic systems including cylinders, pumps and valves.
• Experience with compressors and ammonia/refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Assist with package changeovers when needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping and 5S standards.

General Responsibilities

• Experience with electrical systems including starters, fuses, contacts, relays.
• Electrical systems installation, frequency drive (VFD) and troubleshooting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on advanced production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair electrical problems on production equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Help with any Package changeovers when required.
• Perform general housekeeping and 5S standards.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30PM

Monday – Friday 10:00PM – 6:30AM

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with PLC and industrial electrical experience required.
• Experience with packaging/high speed production (e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.).
• Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).
• Experience with compressors/ammonia systems (e.g., refrigeration systems).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.

The pay:

$27.00 – $30.00 per hour
