Akkodis is seeking a Facilities Technician in Pomona, CA 91767 who will perform maintenance and electrical tasks on site, including HVAC, plumbing, flooring, and general carpentry.

You will coordinate with vendors, establish maintenance procedures, and administer preventive maintenance in Maximo while supporting facility operations and safety.

1+ years of related experience is preferred; the position offers $24–$26/hour on W2 with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Job description

Akkodis is seeking Facilities Technician in Pomona CA 91767. Ideally, looking for someone with 1+ years of experience in General carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring and plumbing skills required.

Rate Range: $24/hour to $26/hour on w2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides maintenance, mechanical and electrical performance for the facilities and utilities equipment at the site including: Vacuum, Compressed Air, Emergency Generation, Power, City and Well Water, HVAC Equipment.

Qualifications:

• Contact suppliers and outside vendors to maintain a complete stock of spare parts for the equipment under the Facilities and Utilities scope.
• Establish and execute the right maintenance procedures and frequencies based on equipment manufacture's operation and maintenance manuals, recommendations and equipment reliability history.
• Report results to the appropriate piers and clients (inside/outside facilities) on a frequent basis.
• Administer the computerized system of preventive maintenance (Maximo).
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors miscellaneous work related to the scope mentioned above.
• Conduct minor maintenance and repair on all areas of the facility; including,but not limited to: flooring, wall patch, painting, plumbing, lighting, ceiling, tile, doors, etc.
• Electrical installations and wiring.
• Plumbing installations and piping.
• Flooring patches and repairs for sheet vinyl and VCT.
• On-site escort of contractors and vendors.
• Installation of minor equipment.
