Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Field Service Technician for an industrial equipment company. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing customer equipment at client sites while providing technical support and ensuring optimal system performance.

This is a full travel position with travel extensively to customer sites, including international assignments. Read electrical schematics, diagnose issues, and document service activities, with compensation in the $30–$32.99 hourly

Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Field Service Technician for an industrial equipment company. In this position you will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair customer equipment at client sites while providing technical support and ensuring optimal system performance. This is a full travel position with travel international!

Rate Range: $30/HR - $32.99/HR; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Field Service Technician job skills:

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose issues involving motors, controls, sensors, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and industrial machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Provide customer-facing technical support, training, and documentation while ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
• Travel extensively to customer sites and respond to field service calls as needed.
• Utilize electrical test equipment and troubleshooting tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
