Could you be the full-time Plant Tradesperson/Facilities Technician that we are seeking?

Your Future Role

Hourly Rate: $28.52

Embrace a vital position within our team, where you will oversee building maintenance and repair for a variety of equipment, including sprinklers, lighting, HVAC, and fire suppression systems. Reporting to the Facilities Management Team Leader, you will work alongside a dedicated and skilled team. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and safety of fixed facilities such as stations and maintenance/storage facilities. You will support a 24/7 operation, engaging in both preventive and corrective maintenance to meet our high operational standards.

Your responsibilities will specifically encompass:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs across multiple systems, ensuring all workadheres to safety and quality protocols.
  • Interpreting maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, and other technical documents to carry out necessary tasks.
  • Conducting inspections and troubleshooting to repair faults using appropriate test equipment.

We prioritize a proactive attitude and practical skills over extensive experience alone. While we do not expect you to possess every skill listed, the following qualifications will enhance your potential for success and growth within this role:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal training in one or more building trades such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or plumbing.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Applications and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Capability to operate forklifts and cranes, as well as a valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation.
