Job summary

Our client in facilities management is seeking a Facilities Technician to support maintenance operations in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role focuses on monitoring facilities, troubleshooting power, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and performing preventative maintenance. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of experience.

Strong problem solving, attention to detail and ability to work independently are valued. Shift is 3rd, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM; pay range is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machines, tools and maintenance procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security and proper maintenance standards.
• Troubleshoot issues related to power, HVAC systems, controls and mechanical systems.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing and vendor management.
• Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed to maintain optimal lighting conditions.
• Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested.

As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the organization. Pay Range: $18.00
