Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Ashland, VA is seeking a Facilities Technician to support two sites with hands-on maintenance across MEP systems. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordinate downtime to minimize disruption for end users.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, and is proficient with MS Office and CMMS systems such as Maximo or Corrigo. Valid driver’s license and call-in readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and CMMS (Maximo or Corrigo).
• Valid driver’s license and availability for call‑in work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and perform repairs, installation, and preventative maintenance on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure.
• Inspect and ensure all drainage systems are free flowing and clear of obstructions; respond to calls to snake out drains or clear blockages.
• Inspect and repair restroom fixtures and ensure all compressed air systems are operational and error-free.
• Manage dock and loading equipment systems, respond to malfunctions, and coordinate vendor support as needed.
• Work with clients to schedule equipment downtime for maintenance with minimal impact to end users.

Our client, an organization dedicated to maintaining and supporting large-scale facilities, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management department supporting the operational needs of two sites in Ashland, VA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $25-$28

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm EST
