Job summary

Aerotek in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Facilities Technician for a permanent, onsite role. The position offers a 1st shift from 7am to 3pm, a pay rate of $24+/hour, and benefits including 401K, medical, dental, vision, and PTO.

You will maintain grounds, assist with HVAC/plumbing, and support general facility upkeep to ensure a clean, safe work environment. This role is ideal for hands-on individuals committed to safety and reliability, with opportunities to grow into maintenance technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct grounds maintenance and general facility upkeep to maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Perform lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, and seasonal landscaping activities.
• Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance activities throughout the facility.
• Support HVAC maintenance and repair projects as needed.
• Assist with plumbing repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Perform basic lighting maintenance, including bulb and fixture replacement.
• Complete minor drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-up work.
• Repair and maintain facility fixtures and equipment.
• Assist with emergency door inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Support dock door maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Complete assigned training and development activities to build skills for a future Maintenance Technician role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
