Full Salary Range: $19.57 - $25.48 Hourly

Anticipated Hiring Range: $19.57 - $22.52 Hourly

Job Summary

The Facilities Technician performs routine building maintenance, general cleaning, and other assigned tasks. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Facilities Supervisor.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of maintenance and minor repairs related to public buildings
• Valid driver license and good driving record

Preferred

• Two years of related experience in public facilities
• Experience with large events (e.g., arenas)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Colorado municipal structures
• Collaboration, computer, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and adaptability

Essential Functions

• Follow instructions and establish effective relationships
• Work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
• Operate equipment and handle safety procedures
• Maintain facilities, perform repairs, and assist with events

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Works outdoors in varied weather, may handle chemicals, and perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs.
