Description

Job Summary

This individual is responsible for the general maintenance of Partners In Excellence facilities. This position includes duties both internal and external, covering the metro facilities and equipment maintained by Partners In Excellence. The primary focus is ensuring the safety of all staff, clients, and visitors. The individual will assist management by observing and reporting incidents and events, maintaining strict confidentiality, and demonstrating strong professional skills.

This role involves using cleaning tools and other products to promote a healthy working environment, disposing of trash appropriately, and performing minor repairs with generalized maintenance skills.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain buildings, facilities, and equipment
  • Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal, grass cutting, bush trimming, garbage collection, signage, and lighting as required
  • Operate, maintain, and repair equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Secure warehouse contents against loss
  • Evaluate inventory levels
  • Suggest and implement improvements to distribution procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Stock delivered items and monitor inventory levels on shelves
  • Meet physical demands listed below
  • Complete other assigned projects and duties
Required Education and Experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience and training
  • Ability to work independently with effective time management
  • Manage concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain safe working habits
  • Vocational training in mechanical or construction fields
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written communication skills
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of computers and relevant software is required.

Physical Demands

The role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 75 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds, standing, walking, and using various tools and equipment. Visual and communication skills are essential for interaction and safety.

Work Environment

The job operates in a clinical therapy setting with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Standard office equipment is used, and tasks may be performed outside normal hours.
