Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking aMaintenance Technician for casino properties to provide superior service for internal and external customers.

You will perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks while repairing and maintaining a variety of equipment. The role involves working with surveillance, alarm and audio systems, and requires use of power tools, welding and testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ related engineering experience in a hotel/casino with 750+ rooms, and/or AA Degree with five years’ related experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, boilers, HVAC, refrigeration and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Repair and install electronic, surveillance and alarm systems as needed.
• Perform painting, carpentry and upholstery work as required.
• Operate milling equipment, lathes and power tools; weld as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and department standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests with prompt, courteous service.
