Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to provide excellent customer service while fabricating, repairing, and maintaining mechanical devices, motors and pumps across the venue. The role requires keeping the workshop orderly, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and performing upholstery and flooring installation as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or AA/apprenticeship, pass background and drug screening, and be prepared to work flexible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience or AA degree/apprenticeship.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of paint mixing, upholstery, carpet, stone flooring, and hardwood installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and professional interactions with customers and coworkers.
• Fabricate, repair, and maintain mechanical devices, motors and pumps.
• Keep workshop orderly by organizing tools and materials.
• Respond to maintenance requests with courteous, timely service.
• Repair and install woodwork and prepare surfaces for painting or wall covering.
• Perform upholstery work as required.
• Install and maintain flooring materials including carpet and stone.
• Operate milling equipment, lathes and power tools; weld as needed.
• Work in environments with noise, temp changes, and potential hazards.
