Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring a Facilities Technician 1 to maintain and improve building infrastructure, perform preventive maintenance, and support capital projects. You will work across departments with a focus on safety, reliability, and documentation.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and the ability to read technical drawings, with opportunities to contribute to TPM and continuous improvement efforts. No visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or trade school preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience recommended.
• Basic mechanical skills including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair building infrastructure and systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and CMMS entries.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and TPM/Lean.
• Assist in project scopes, design reviews, and system startups.
