Job summary

First Security Bank seeks a Facilities Tech I to keep its buildings running smoothly and safely. You’ll handle maintenance, repairs, and grounds work, ensure security and safety checks, and support daily operations across branches.

Proficiency with building management systems and ability to learn procedures are essential. As part of a team, you’ll perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and coordinate with management on repairs, upgrades, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated computer skills to troubleshoot maintenance issues, including Word and Excel.
• Must have math skills for unit conversions and measurements.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
• Professional and friendly attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Perform visual structural and security checks on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, snow removal, and curb appeal.
• Conduct safety checks on boiler and air handling systems as scheduled.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Familiarize with Metasys, lighting programs, and fire systems.
• Perform maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work.
• Learn and follow robbery recovery procedures.
• Occasionally design and build simple bank equipment and move furniture as needed.
• Assist with ordering janitorial and maintenance supplies.
