Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Production Set-up and Maintenance team member for the night shift (Sun–Thu, 11pm–7am) in Nebraska. You will perform cleaning, waste handling, stocking, and maintain equipment per EH&S and GMP standards to keep manufacturing operations safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required or preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience preferred in manufacturing or cleaning roles.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas – sweep, mop, wax or buff floors, wash surfaces and lights.
• Consolidate, move and dump trash into designated containers and maintain waste systems.
• Stock and replenish cleaning supplies and rotate stock.
• Follow EH&S procedures; participate in safety trainings and root-cause analysis.
• Observe safety regulations and report hazards or incidents.
• Work overtime as required.

What Production Set-up and Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas – sweep, mop, wax or buff floors, wash inside/outside windows, dust exposed ceilings, rafters, and overhead lights
• Consolidate, move and dump trash into designated containers – operator compactor system, clean and maintain recyclable systems
• Use a variety of mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, solutions, carts, ladders, power vacuum/cleaning equipment and power-driven cleaning equipment (company will administer certification to drive power operated equipment)
• Stock and replenish cleaning supplies
• Comply with statutory responsibility under the national/federal regulations - take reasonable care of your own health, safety and welfare along with teammates that may be affected by your acts at work
• Follow established EH&S procedures and policies and encourage teammates to follow them
• Participate in EH&S activities such as: root cause analysis, finding solutions, implementing improvements, inspections, and meetings
• Complete and remain up to date on required EH&S training
• Follow all ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA and plant/corporate standards, policies, and procedures
• Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed
• Report all safety incidents, hazards, and potential unsafe working conditions
• Work overtime as required
