Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of a full 24-hour Facilities Service, ensuring staff are trained, supervised and service delivery meets organisational requirements.
• Lead the facilities team with effective planning and delegation, ensuring staff work efficiently and the service runs smoothly.
• Provide high-quality support to the Facilities Manager and identify opportunities for service improvements.
• Plan and coordinate schedules/rotas, ensuring coverage in line with policies and procedures.
• Oversee resource management including assets and waste streams, ensuring sustainability and value for money.
• Liaise with service users and respond to day-to-day enquiries to maintain service quality.
