Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and service delivery across the facilities department. The role includes managing rosters, coordinating waste and transport, and ensuring a high standard of professionalism and safety.

Salary range £33,262 – £36,027 per annum (HCAS included). The position involves on-site responsibilities and close collaboration with the Facilities Manager and site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or supervisory roles.
• Strong organisational and rostering skills.
• Ability to analyse data and drive efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff, ensuring training and development; conduct appraisals and supervise performance.
• Plan and coordinate workloads, rotas, and resources; ensure service remains efficient and well run.
• Delegate tasks to cover on-site operations, waste management, mail, security, and transport.
• Provide handovers at shift change and liaise with senior management on issues and improvements.
