Qualifications

• Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, groundskeeping, or related hands-on role required.
• Experience leading, training, mentoring, or coordinating others preferred.
• Ability to safely operate and guide others in use of basic tools for facility maintenance.
• Comfortable indoors and outdoors in varying weather, including winter conditions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for occasional errands or pickups.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and provide day-to-day direction to Facilities Technicians, assigning tasks and priorities.
• Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, groundskeeping, light carpentry, snow removal, and related work.
• Review facility needs with the supervisor, organize work, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Train, coach, and mentor Technicians on safe practices and quality standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure safety and compliance with facility expectations.
• Communicate work status, supply needs, safety concerns, and issues to supervisor and manager promptly.
• Support errands or pickups for local orders and supplies as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, storage spaces, and tools.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and service-minded approach within the Facilities team.
