Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, groundskeeping, carpentry, or a related hands-on role.
• Leadership or coordination experience.
• Ability to safely operate basic tools and equipment.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Driver's license preferred for occasional errands.
• Ability to perform physical work (standing, lifting, etc.).
• Leads by example and can work alongside a team.
• Strong communication and training abilities.
• Proactive in identifying facility needs and keeping areas organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and provide day-to-day direction to Facilities Technicians.
• Perform general facility maintenance, groundskeeping, carpentry, snow removal, and related tasks.
• Review facility needs with the Facilities Supervisor and adjust priorities as needed.
• Train, coach, and mentor technicians on safe practices and quality standards.
• Inspect completed work for safety and quality.
• Communicate status, supplies, safety concerns to Supervisor and Manager.
• Assist with errands and operational needs as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and tools.
• Promote teamwork and a service-minded approach within the team.
