Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises in Mississippi is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine inspections, maintain building systems, and keep Dematic/Packsize systems running smoothly. You will coordinate repairs, manage vendors, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in a similar role, with comfort using tools and automated systems. Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Experience working with automated systems and diagnosis using common tools.

• Willingness to learn and navigate automated software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises, grounds, and building systems.
• Keep Dematic and Packsize systems running at peak performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more.
• Test and service fire/life-safety systems; maintain safety equipment.
• Keep the facility clean and organized; assist moves and setup.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage vendor relationships for services.
• Maintain records on equipment and building systems; storage and tools.
• Follow health and safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective action.
