Qorvo, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to perform building maintenance, troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems, and support HVAC and facility infrastructure.

You will coordinate with contractors, document activities in CMMS, and ensure safety and compliance. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED with 4+ years in facilities maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to work on-call for nights or weekends as needed.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• 3+ years of maintenance or trade experience
• Ability to work M-F 7am-3:30pm and nights/weekends on-call as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs (drywall, painting, ceiling tile, doors, carpentry).
• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing systems (faucets, drains, toilets).
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (lighting, outlets, switches) per safety procedures.
• Support maintenance and operation of facility infrastructure (CDA, HVAC).
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS or work orders.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and improvements.
• Assist with office moves and furniture installations.
• Follow safety policies and environmental/health requirements.
• Participate in preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
