Reports To: Operations Manager

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Facility Support Specialist to keep our Omaha property running well and looking professional. This is a full-time position with variety built in, where no two days look quite the same.

This role is responsible for the appearance, safety, and working condition of our grounds, buildings, showroom, and warehouse, and for assembling and delivering finished product to our customers. It is well suited to someone who takes pride in a well-kept property, notices what needs attention before being told, and enjoys working with their hands.

The Facility Support Specialist maintains company property and supports daily operations across multiple areas of the business. This role requires working independently, following safety standards, and representing the company professionally with customers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Grounds & Building Maintenance

• Keep entryways, walkways, and grounds clear, safe, and well maintained
• Maintain landscaping, lighting, and exterior appearance year-round
• Respond to routine plumbing, lighting, and general repair needs
• Keep restrooms and supplies stocked
• Operate and maintain the warehouse floor sweeper

Product Assembly & Delivery

• Assemble patio furniture, grills, and similar products to manufacturer specifications
• Inspect assembled product for quality before it leaves the location
• Load, secure, and deliver product to customer locations using a company pickup and trailer
• Complete delivery paperwork and report any concerns promptly

Showroom & Sample Room Support

• Keep the sample room organized and samples in their assigned locations
• Notify purchasing when stock samples run low
• Maintain a clean, presentable customer-facing environment

Recycling & Operational Support

• Operate the cardboard compactor and manage the recycling program
• Pick up materials and supplies as needed
• Support yard, warehouse, and showroom operations as required

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial work, or general building trades preferred
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Basic troubleshooting ability in lighting, plumbing, and general repair
• Ability to assemble products accurately using printed instructions
• Ability to safely operate a pickup and trailer combination, including backing and load securement
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets our insurability standards
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
• Self-directed, with the ability to recognize what needs attention without being told
• Full-time, stable position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule
