Job summary

NexTech Solutions LLC in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to perform custodial, maintenance, and logistical tasks to keep a clean, safe, and organized environment.

You will execute daily cleaning, monitor restrooms, restock supplies, assist with furniture setup, and coordinate with facilities leadership to ensure operations run smoothly. A HS diploma and 1-3 years' experience are required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cleaning, maintenance, and custodial tasks to maintain a safe and professional facility environment.
• Inspect all facility rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces daily to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain restrooms and break areas, including restocking consumable supplies.
• Assist with meeting, conference, and event setup and breakdown.
• Assemble, relocate, and configure office furniture and equipment as directed.
• Support basic facility repairs such as painting, patching, replacing light bulbs, and moving equipment.

• Experience working in corporate, government, laboratory, or controlled-access environments preferred
• Experience supporting shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, or supply coordination preferred
• Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and cleaning equipment

• Reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude when interacting with employees, visitors, and vendors
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and complete tasks with attention to detail

The Facilities Support Specialist provides hands-on custodial, maintenance, and logistical support to ensure a clean, organized, and operationally ready facility environment. This role focuses on execution of daily cleaning schedules, minor facility maintenance tasks, inventory coordination, and workspace support. Through reliability, attention to detail, and customer service, the Specialist upholds cleanliness standards and contributes to overall workplace safety and professionalism. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational continuity and sustaining the company's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily cleaning, maintenance, and custodial tasks to maintain a safe and professional facility environment
• Inspect all facility rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces daily to ensure cleanliness, organization, and removal of trash
• Maintain restrooms and break areas, including monitoring and restocking consumable supplies
• Conduct scheduled deep-cleaning activities, including mopping, dusting, cleaning appliances, and sanitizing shared surfaces
• Maintain janitorial supply inventories, track usage, and identify reorder requirements for leadership approval
• Receive, restock, and organize supply deliveries in coordination with Facility department management
• Assist with meeting, conference, and event setup and breakdown
• Assemble, relocate, and configure office furniture and equipment as directed
• Support basic facility repairs such as painting, patching, replacing light bulbs, and moving equipment
• Provide escort duties for uncleared personnel in restricted or controlled areas as required
