Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain facility systems and ensure safety and efficiency. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, installations, and on-call support, while documenting conditions and training peers.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to meet site efficiency goals and energy management targets, with duties including building upkeep and reporting.

Qualifications

• CFC Certification required.
• 3 years’ minimum experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to train others.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
• Perform new installations.
• Perform corrective maintenance and other work orders as assigned.
• Train others in field of expertise.
• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, light carpentry, snow removal, basic electrical and after hours on-call response.
• Keep track of all paperwork, time and work orders.
• Write reports to communicate and document equipment and process conditions.

Job Overview

The facilities H.V.A.C technician will have a paramount priority towards safety and productivity and will work diligently to help sustain an effective and efficient services department. Work is often performed under time and budgeting constraints to help achieve the sites operating efficiency goals and preventative maintenance performance results. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
• Perform New installations
• Perform corrective maintenance and other types of work orders as assigned
• Perform studies for Energy efficiency opportunities
• Perform process and equipment improvements to enhance its operation
• Write reports to communicate and document equipment and process conditions
• Train others in field of expertise
• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, light carpentry, Snow removal, basic electrical and after hours on call response.
• Keep track of all paperwork, time and work orders.

What your background should look like

• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• CFC Certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Must be willing to work any shift, modified shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,000 – $77,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
