Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced H.V.A.C. technician to support our Middletown Township facility, focusing on safety, reliability and energy efficiency in facility operations.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, install new systems, handle work orders and mentor teammates, with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years minimum experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
  • CFC certification required.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing to train others.
  • Willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Job Overview

The facilities H.V.A.C technician will have a paramount priority towards safety and productivity and will work diligently to help sustain an effective and efficient services department. Work is often performed under time and budgeting constraints to help achieve the sites operating efficiency goals and preventative maintenance performance results. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Requirements
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
  • Perform New installations
  • Perform corrective maintenance and other types of work orders as assigned
  • Perform studies for Energy efficiency opportunities
  • Perform process and equipment improvements to enhance its operation
  • Write reports to communicate and document equipment and process conditions
  • Train others in field of expertise
  • Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, light carpentry, Snow removal, basic electrical and after hours on call response.
  • Keep track of all paperwork, time and work orders.
What Your Background Should Look Like
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • CFC Certification required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3 years’ minimum experience with maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing commercial H.V.A.C. systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to train others
  • Must be willing to work any shift, modified shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,000 – $77,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
