Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test, andassistin research for the development of products and processes. Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. They may also support calibration, displays, network control, mold development, audiovisual work, or environmental health and safety.

At theME Tech Ilevel, team membersoperateunderdirect supervision, focusing on learning foundational manufacturing processes, supporting basic engineering tasks, and developing technical skills necessary for growth within the engineering support function. This is an entry‑level technical role designed to build competency through hands‑on experience and structured guidance.

Job Requirements
  • Assistin supporting yield and productivity goals by following established processes and escalating issues to senior technicians or engineers.
  • Learn and follow manufacturing process procedures and equipment operation under direct supervision.
  • Support basic engineering tasks and studies as assigned, withclose guidancefrom senior staff.
  • Maintain compliance with QA manual requirements and documentation systems by following established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team membersregardingday-to-day task status and observations.
  • Follow and adhere to existing standard work andprocedures;flag discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Support manufacturing operations andassistin basic setup, inspection, or testing activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position requires access to information subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)orExport Administration Regulations (EAR). What your background should look like

  • Basic familiarity with workplace organization principles (5S awareness).
  • Ability tooperatea PC and navigate basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak proficiently in English.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $44,100 - $66,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
