St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is seeking a Full-Time, hourly Facilities Associate. You will maintain buildings and grounds, perform light plumbing/electrical tasks, assist HVAC scheduling, and support event setup and campus operations.

Must be an active Christian church member with strong teamwork and attention to detail. Good communication and basic computer use are required. Typical duties include cleaning, reporting issues, inventory support, and assisting with furniture and resources for

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance, upkeep and repair of buildings.
• Maintenance, upkeep and repair of grounds.
• Light plumbing and electrical work as needed.
• Painting and HVAC programming support as required.
• Spot-cleaning and daily upkeep; report issues to Lead Facilities Engineer.
• Assist with supplies inventory and replacement.
• Event setup and campus support; opening/closing procedures.
• On-call custodial support during events; assist with signage.
• Assist in coordination and upkeep of furniture and resources.

Availability - Days/ Afternoons/Evenings, during the Week and on Weekends.Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability InsurancePaid Time Off for: Personal, Vacation, Sick, Jury Duty, Bereavement & HolidaysREQUIRED: Cover Letter, Resume and completed St. Andrew’s Employment Application.SUMMARYAs part of the Facilities Team, responsible for day-to-day facilities support; assist in the maintenance and up-keep of church buildings, grounds, rooms, resources and supplies.Primary Responsibilities:Maintenance, upkeep and repair of buildingsMaintenance, upkeep and repair of groundsLight plumbing as neededElectrical work as neededPainting as neededMaintenance and care of church vehiclesProgramming of HVAC needsLight construction as requested/needed by church ministry areasSpot-cleaning as needed during the day, including spills, vacuuming, litter, etc.Assist in inspecting and reporting maintenance and repair issues to the Lead Facilities Engineer.Being responsive to requests from various ministriesAssist with supplies inventory and replacement.Secondary Responsibilities - Event set up and Campus support:Assist with opening procedures in the morning and/or closing procedures in the evening, depending on the schedule.Hands-on support for set-up and tear-down of furniture and resources for events.Assist in placing signage and supporting coordination for events.On-call custodial support as needed during events.Assist in coordination and upkeep of furniture and resources for events.Must be an active member of a Christian church.Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills - ability to work as part of a team.Positive, supportive, and flexible attitude in working with others.Strong attention to detail.Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy furniture and equipment.Basic computer literacy (e-mail and ability to enter time worked into computer payroll system daily).Must speak and understand English. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED preferred.One to two years of facilities maintenance experience preferred.Basic mathematical skills and ability to work with systems of measure.
