The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a Building Supervisor to ensure a safe, smooth-running facility and exceptional member service. The role involves patrolling, staffing coverage, emergencies, and closing the facility securely while upholding YMCA values.

You will work with staff, members, guests and program participants to maintain a welcoming environment and high-quality programs.

Competenze

Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous manager on duty or customer service experience required.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods.
Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.
Able to relate well to a diverse population and provide courteous, patient service.

Mansioni

Routinely walk all areas of the facility to manage program quality and delivery, serve as a resource to members and staff, and ensure staffing coverage.
Manage the building when directors are not present.
Use program knowledge, along with facility and staffing schedules to deliver proactive assistance or intervention as needed.
Guide and/or redirect staff as necessary and appropriate.
May assist with laundry or give tours as directed by branch leadership.
Respond to emergencies per YMCA safety and risk protocol; First Aid and CPR training provided upon hire.
Respond promptly to member, participant and staff needs and handle complaints courteously.
Fill out incident/accident reports after conflicts or emergencies.
Close the facility in accordance with posted hours and ensure it is secure at closing.
Uphold YMCA policies, safety rules and core values.
