Qualifications

• Plan, schedule and supervise work in buildings, equipment and grounds; inspect facilities and identify deficiencies.
• Read blueprints, codes and safety procedures to solve problems and ensure compliance.
• Estimate material and supply costs for maintenance projects and manage budgets.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for estimates and budget projections.
• Train, supervise and evaluate staff; review work and ensure timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work, monitor progress and communicate concerns to supervisors and agency management.
• Oversee capital improvements, including cost estimates and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with contractors and commercial vendors to obtain estimates and manage projects within budget.
• Train, supervise and evaluate assigned staff; review work for efficiency.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
