Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Supervisor-Facilities to oversee the operation and maintenance of hospital buildings and grounds. The role includes planning, scheduling preventive maintenance, and guiding technicians in repair work and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in HVAC/plumbing/electrical utilities and a minimum of 1 year leading teams, with a valid driver’s license and strong knowledge of NFPA codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire system devices, air systems and HVAC related systems.
Ability to read and interpret information from complex blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
Knowledge of NFPA Life Safety Code, State Fire Marshall and NFPA 99 requirements.
Minimum 1 year leading teams and 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or other utility systems.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise the operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems including mechanical and electrical.
Train technicians in general repair and maintenance and assist with maintenance calls and troubleshooting.
