Job summary

You will lead maintenance, budgeting, vendor management, and Lean improvements while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Occasional travel may be required as part of vendor coordination and multi-site support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical field required.
• Seven+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with facility safety and environmental regulatory requirements is desirable.
• Certified or able to become certified in First Aid/CPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security).
• Oversee grounds maintenance for safety and functionality.
• Assist in developing the facilities budget and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate external contractors and vendors, ensure scope/schedule/quality/budget adherence.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across facilities.
• Develop and implement facility emergency response and training plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and permitting.
• Establish KPIs and report on operations, risks, and corrective actions.
• Lead maintenance personnel, including hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
• Enforce company policies and maintain a safe fabrication environment.
