Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in facilities maintenance, supervisory experience, and strong communication skills. This full-time role focuses on safe, reliable facilities operations across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction trades and facilities maintenance requirements.
• Experience supervising work crews in facilities environments.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and blueprints.
• Strong administrative, writing and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA, building and fire codes and inspection processes.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and service-request documentation.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain school facilities and oversee contractors.
• Supervise Facilities Maintenance Coordinators and day porters.
• Monitor time/materials, schedule and track maintenance issues and repairs.
• Provide project status reports and assist with budgeting estimates.
• Ensure compliance with Building Codes and safety procedures.
• Travel within or outside state as needed and participate in training programs.
