Job summary

Q Casino + Resort in Dubuque, IA seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across hotels, casino, kitchens, and amphitheater areas. You will supervise shifts, coordinate repairs, and ensure safe, guest-ready conditions while partnering with Events, Hotel, and Security teams.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with building systems, and a focus on preventative maintenance. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with a safety-forward work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in maintenance, facilities, or related operations.
• Must have prior supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience with building systems and safety compliance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facilities team across shifts, assign work and monitor performance.
• Coordinate daily maintenance and preventativ e maintenance tasks to meet deadlines.
• Communicate updates and staffing needs to Facilities Manager and Director.
• Inspect work for quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Provide training and development to maintenance staff on equipment and safety.
• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and vendor coordination for repairs.
• Coordinate support for events, amphitheater activities, and outdoor area needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to align facilities with guest experience goals.
• Supervise outside contractors for HVAC, pools, electrical, and building systems.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel room access systems and door locks as applicable.
