Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a maintenance professional to keep the facility in Dubuque, IA running smoothly. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems, ensuring minimal downtime and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, emergency response, record-keeping, and coordinating major repairs with management. The role requires physical capability and relevant technical training or experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Trade school graduate or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting preferred.
• Able to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Able to read, comprehend and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems with systems and take corrective action.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, power outage, gas or water leaks.
• Maintain equipment with standard preventative maintenance procedures.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Maintain records on all equipment maintenance and repair.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
