Job summary

The Paramount Group is recruiting a Facilities Supervisor to oversee a clean, safe, guest-ready headquarters in Chicago. You will lead the daily cleaning team, perform routine repairs, and manage outside vendors to uphold our standards.

This full-time, on-site role requires mechanical skill, strong organization, and effective communication with staff and guests. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k) after one year.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to spot issues others miss.
• Mechanical skill with plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Highly organized with logs, checklists, and schedules.
• Clear, friendly communicator with guests, vendors, and staff.
• Self-starter who manages time and priorities.
• Experience leading a team in a facilities environment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand/move for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license for on-site vendor visits.

Responsibilities

• Walk the building daily to ensure spaces meet standards.
• Lead daily cleaning and maintenance tasks; delegate as needed.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and inspections.
• Manage catering storerooms and inventory accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Schedule inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain security measures and check fire extinguisher dates.
• Contribute to facilities budget planning with leadership.
• Support warehouse on busy days with organization and packing.
• Participate in monthly inventory and special projects.
