Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in facility management or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity, electronics, and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Experience in projects for facility improvements and restructuring.
  • Direct supervision of contractors.

The Facilities Supervisor oversees and manages the maintenance of company facilities, equipment and systems to ensure optimum performance and availability of resources for uninterrupted operation. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs, leading the maintenance team and coordinating with outside contractors to effectively execute improvement projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinate, assign, execute, and supervise the corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs carried out on the plant's machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate, assign, and supervise construction and maintenance tasks in various installations, including carpentry, painting, electricity, mechanics, and other areas.
  • Conduct periodic inspections in the facilities where the production process takes place to verify the operating conditions of all equipment and maintain proper control of their maintenance.
  • Actively participate, collaborate, and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations related to quality assurance developed and implemented by the company.
  • Quote, negotiate, coordinate, and supervise the work of permanent and temporary contractors who perform tasks in the plant.
  • Ensure the safety and integrity of the physical infrastructure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within your scope of responsibilities.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, electromechanics, or related fields with 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • General knowledge of electricity, electronics, and layout design.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Experience in projects for facility improvements and restructuring.
  • Direct supervision of contractors.
  • Demonstrates leadership and empowerment skills to interact with all levels of the company.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Possess high professional ethics, good judgment, and ability to make timely decisions.
  • Availability for travel: Visa required.
