Sealed Air in the United States is seeking a maintenance supervisor to coordinate and oversee maintenance activities on production and facilities equipment, ensuring work is planned, scheduled and completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on facilities experience, strong supervisory skills, and excellent communication. You will work with Engineers, Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Planners to keep systems running.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on facilities technical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Coordinates and supervises personnel and contractors to ensure that maintenance activities on production and facilities equipment are planned, scheduled and executed on schedule and within budget. Responsible for assisting with facility projects (as assigned). The candidate for this role will work with latitude and minimal oversight to ensure that effective decisions are made related to the execution of maintenance activities (scheduled and unscheduled).

The ideal candidate will have extensive working knowledge of the following:

• Boiler Systems
• Cooling Tower Systems
• Air Handlers
• Air Conditioning Systems
• Compressed Air Systems
• Reverse Osmosis Water Systems
• Water Treatment Systems
• Chilled Water Systems
• Effluent Water Systems
• Potable and Service Water Systems

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Engineers, Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Planners

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Degree required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on facilities technical experience.
• Minimum of 3 Years of supervisory experience preferred
